*First residents meeting for this Fall.
-Several residents attended; sign in sheet reflects those present.
-Directors present: Karen Milne, Mary Saunders, Rick Read, Laura Parker, and Daina Ball. Absent: Ryan Schroeder. Quorum is present.
-Meeting started at 7pm
-Pledge of Allegiance recited.
-Rules of conduct were read to residents.
-Meeting minutes from last month were read, voted on, and approved.
-Financials were printed and presented and read aloud by Mary. Some outstanding debt was collected via credit card machine.
-Financials were voted on and approved.
-Pool deck has been repaired.
-Karen is still working on getting damage caused by construction supervisor hired by Frontier to cover plumbing bills incurred due to their negligence
-Our attorney viewed our website and said it’s one of the best they have seen and definitely worth the money we have paid for it. The website lists FEMA information and information regarding our upcoming board election.
-Many of the Frontier boxes installed were missing screws on the covers and during the hurricane the lids floated up, leaving open holes. So far Frontier is unconcerned about any potential liability.
-Community really came together to help each other after the hurricanes. FEMA brought supplies to the rec hall to be distributed including tarps, mops and buckets, cleaning supplies, and MREs. Mary updated the FEMA representative as to the number of houses in our community as their number was wildly off.
-Karen is preparing paperwork, including proxy paperwork, for our upcoming board election.
