-All board members present. (Louis, Mary, Karen, Daina, Ryan, Rebel, and Rick)
-Meeting called to order at 7pm.
-Last month’s meeting minutes were read, voted on, and passed.
-Last month’s financials were presented, voted, and passed. $46,502 in checking, collected ~$11,700 in assessments and $655 in laundry. Only extra charge was for new fire extinguishers.
-Karen brought up raising assessments in 2025 by the maximum amount of 3% in order to keep up with the rising cost of inflation. This would bring the new assessment amount up from approx. $240/year to $247/year, and about $66,118 to be collected annually if all residents pay their assessments. Rates haven’t been raised since 2020. Vote to pass raise in assessments was passed and a note will be included in the assessment notice that goes out in November, giving residents at least 30 days notice.
-A notice was put on Piechocki property alerting owners and any interested party that there will be significant liability and the property will be going before a special magistrate to decide future of property. The county may just auction it off as-is vs. condemning it because of cost.
-Residents have expressed an interest in an adult only swim time. We will have a poll on Facebook group to determine the best time.
-We want to have a movie time at the rec hall for the kids and board members will be needed to supervise.
-Karen wants to have an ice cream social on Memorial Day.
-4th of July party is still on the books.
-Going to add a sign on the rec hall door advertising the fact that we do have a Facebook group for residents.
-Just had an inspection done for insurance purposes and we failed on the playground. We need to have a fall surface installed under playground equipment with a fall risk, such as swing set and monkey bars. It can be mulch, wood chips, pea gravel, or rubber mats. We have someone looking into options and will vote on them after bids have been collected. We have 20 days to rectify the situation.
-Meeting adjourned 7:37pm.
