August 2024 Board Meeting

Present: Daina Ball, Mary Borner Saunders, Laura Parker, Rick Read, and Ryan Schroeder

Absent: Karen Milne

-Meeting started at 6:56 pm.

-Mary had sent last month’s financials to be looked at. They were voted on and approved.

-Daina read last month’s meeting minutes. Our website domain name is actually leisureworldpinellas.com, not leisureworldclearwater.com, as previously stated. With that change made, the minutes were voted on and approved.

-Pool deck company still unresponsive in regard to our issues.

-Credit card machine charges will be charged per use and not monthly.

-Rebel is slowly recovering but will need to be replaced. Laura said Doc would be willing to fill in until the end of Rebel’s term.

-Adult swim has not been utilized as we thought it would, so it will continue until the end of the month and then will be discontinued.

-No word yet on the doctor bills from the child injured in the pool area. 

-Board meetings open to residents will resume in October and will be on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. No need to have a 2nd meeting to prepare as we are all connected via Facebook Messenger and can communicate that way.

-Meeting adjourned 7:12pm.
